Clear, glowing skin

Acne is totally distressing. It affects not just your physical appearance but your self confidence and mental health. I truly understand, I had acne for nearly 20 years before finding an approach that actually works. And it doesn’t just work for me, it works for my clients too.

There are a number of contributing factors to getting acne under control and achieving clear and glowing skin. You need to know:

  1. What foods trigger spot production, and which food you may need to avoid
  2. How to reduce inflammation and better manage sebum production, and the most important dietary factor that helps you achieve this
  3. The nutrients that support skin health, and the ones that you want to avoid!
  4. Common mistakes people with acne make and the hidden contributory factors (that took me years to uncover even as a Nutritional Therapist)
  5. Simple foods and recipes that help\
  6. A good, evidence based topical program. Because acne requires a two pronged approach – both what you eat AND what you put on it

I want you to know that clear glowing skin and confidence is absolutely achievable, with no fad or super restrictive dieting. You need a clear, personalised guide and support in making sustainable changes.

I sought Lucy’s professional advice after struggling with my skin for over a decade. I couldn't figure out why it would be ok some months and terrible for others. It was really getting me down, I started to avoid seeing people when it was at it's worse and I felt I had tried so many different topical skin strategies I thought there must be a better way. I was curious to know if anything about my diet might be causing skin problems, but the internet research I did was overwhelming and confusing.

A friend of mine recommended Lucy and it was the best decision I'd made. She was kind, but clear that skin health can take a few months to really reap the rewards of what we were doing, and not to expect an overnight fix. Even so I was surprised how well my skin responded. I had no idea a few things I was doing, that I thought were perfectly healthy were also major contributory factors for my breakouts.

The food strategy we have now is a way of life and I don’t see it as a diet at all. I am on a small basic supplement program, and I check in with Lucy every 6 months or so if I feel I need to. I like being able to make appointments to see Lucy where she will offer advice on any areas of concerns or questions I may have, but also have had Zoom meetings with her, which are helpful when time is short. I would not hesitate recommending Lucy’s bespoke nutrition service to anyone.
