Nutrition Expertise, Brought to Life Through Food

I have worked in nutrition for more than a decade, supporting clients with a wide range of health needs and helping them make sense of what can often feel like an overwhelming amount of nutrition information.

Over the years, my work has increasingly brought together two things I love: the science of nutrition and the practical, creative side of food.

I believe personalised nutrition is at its most useful when it can be translated into everyday life. A carefully considered nutrition plan is one thing, but knowing how to turn it into delicious meals, source the right ingredients and make it work around an individual's lifestyle is another.

Today, my work combines nutritional assessment and evidence-informed recommendations with practical food support, from personalised menu planning and meal preparation to working within private residences and alongside household chefs.

My approach is always individual. Food should support health, but it should also be enjoyable, flexible and suited to the person eating it.

A Bit About Me

I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in 2012 and have worked with clients ever since, initially building a busy nutrition practice in Bristol before returning to my Devon roots.

My career has taken me in directions I couldn’t necessarily have predicted when I first qualified. Alongside clinical practice, I have worked as a Lead Nutritionist, undertaken postgraduate study in advanced nutrition, and provided highly personalised nutrition and food support to private clients in the UK and internationally.

Some of my most rewarding work has involved stepping beyond the consultation room and into the kitchen, turning nutritional recommendations into menus and meals that clients can actually enjoy. I have worked within private residences, sourced and prepared food, reviewed blood results, developed supplement programmes and collaborated with household chefs and staff.

That experience has shaped how I work today. I still value the science and detail of nutritional therapy, but I am equally interested in what happens next: how good nutrition translates into real food and real life.

I now live near Sidmouth in Devon with my husband and our two young boys, and when I’m not working you’ll usually find me cooking, walking the coast or spending time with my family.
