Let’s find your best health together!

I am a registered Nutritional Therapist (NT) with 8 years clinical experience. I have been trained in Functional Medicine principles towards supporting health and am always looking to determine the root cause of an imbalance, and the best way to correct this with my clients. I have worked with hundreds of clients over several years on a variety of health conditions, and my training and experience – combined with my compassion and realistic view of health – makes me a well-prepared partner for you in your journey towards better physical and mental health. Prices and details of how appointments work are detailed below.

I graduated from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in 2012 and have been in practice ever since. I strive to apply an  evidence informed approach to my clinical work. I am currently studying part time for my Masters degree in Advanced Nutrition Research and Practice, with a focus on alterations in the gut microbiome and IBS, and the effective nutritional management of PCOS.

I work with a wide variety of clients, from giving talks to low income families right up to royalty! One thing I’m really passionate about it that good nutrition benefits everyone, no matter what your background. I try to provide as many free resources on my website as I can for those who are unable to see me for one to one appointments.

Interested?

If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, please fill out the short apply to work with me form above. After reviewing your application, if I feel we are a good fit to work together, I will contact you by email or phone to set up an appointment. You can tick a box if you would prefer to have a quick 10 minute chat with me via phone and I'll get in touch.

I see clients in person at the Southville Clinic, and via Skype/Zoom and phone.

Typically I will work with clients for 3-6 sessions, however some people have more complex needs and work with me for longer. I have some loyal clients who like to check in every few months and have done for years!

An initial consultation typically lasts approximately 60 minutes (depending on your health concern), and in this time we will cover detailed questions about current health concerns, symptoms, diagnosis, prior treatment, medical history, family history, lifestyle, levels of physical activity, use of medication and supplements, and diet. I will then evaluate your individual needs and use the extensive evidence base for nutritional science to develop a personalised, safe, effective nutrition and lifestyle programme that works for you.

Tests & supplements may be recommended depending on your needs. This will be discussed at your initial consultation. Follow-up consultations consist of monitoring progress and to develop your programme further. Follow-up frequency and quantity is determined between you and me depending on what we feel will suit your needs.

I would love to be your guide on your journey to better health! If you’re curious what working with me is like, or what kind of results you can expect, check out my client testimonials page. Thanks for filling out the intake form, and I can’t wait to meet you!

My Process

Once we have agreed we are a good fit, I ask you to to complete an online health questionnaire which will give me a good starting point before we meet. This includes a 7 day food diary and a consultation terms of engagement form.

When we meet we will have 60 minutes to have a really in depth discussion about your goals, your current and historic health issues, your family history, any events and relevant symptoms you are experiencing and go through your current diet. From here I will make my assessment of what possible underlying imbalances there may be that are preventing you from achieving what you want. I will then make recommendations to support you.

With some clients we will utilise cutting edge laboratory testing to identify imbalances and provide more targeted recommendations. Please note these tests are an additional cost to your consultation or package plan. Testing is optional and never obligatory. I have many clients who achieve fantastic results just by focusing on nutrition changes alone.

You will then receive your personalised report via email following your consultation (please allow up to 48 hours) with my recommendations for how we will work together and what you can start to implement. There may be additional recipes, meal plans and/or a supplement programme for you to provide you with extra support.

We will then aim to meet for your follow up sessions as often as is convenient for you. In my experience most people feel more motivated to make changes when checking in every 3-4 weeks and being supported through at least 2 follow ups over 8 weeks to see the benefit.

My follow up consultation pricing is structured so you can pick and choose what suits you in your treatment plan.

The initial 60 minute consultation is £120, this allows us to meet and get to know each other and check we are a good fit. You will receive your personalised report after this consultation. If you choose just to have one appointment that is fine. However most people require some ongoing support to implement the changes we discuss and adapt their plan over time.

After an initial appointment you are welcome to purchase either:

  • Individual 45 minute follow up consultations for £90.

This may suit you if you want to speak every 3-4 weeks or further apart.  For any test results we will need a 45 minute appointment to discuss them

  • 'Stay on track' package of 3 x 30 minute follow ups via Zoom/Skype for £180.

This may suit you if you want more regular support and wish to speak every 1-2 weeks, and prefer to make smaller dietary changes one step at a time.

You're in control of how often you would like to speak by choosing your follow up consultation options.

Generally I find at least 3 follow up's is the minimum amount required for my clients to support their health goals.

Email support - please note after 8 years clinical practice I have a large client base! I allow one short (around 2 lines) email question between appointments. If you find you have lots of questions or are struggling with something, I will recommend we jump on Zoom/Skype or the phone to do a paid consultation to go through your queries. This is where a my 'stay on track' online consultation package may suit you better so we can stay on top of all the questions you may have!
